Hi, I'm Tanya!

Who’s ready for Christmas? I know I am! I’ve already seen most of you counting down the days already. We are all looking forward to it for many different reasons, and for me, I enjoy celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ while being with my family. I know for many of us, we live apart from our families and often have to travel. Not only can traveling be a real stressor and accumulating all the money to go, so is purchasing gifts to show appreciation to our loved ones. Depending on the shapes and sizes of these gifts, the end result of this is extra money spent on more luggage or a hefty overweight fee.

However, most of us underestimate the power our words can have on others. The simplicity of writing a letter is often overlooked by shiny objects that quickly lose appreciation over time. Our words are powerful and used appropriately, could have a lasting impact on our loved ones. This year I’ve been focusing on being more intentional. I also have been doing my best to show those I love and care about how much I appreciate them. The company Basic Invite makes it affordable and easy for us to express our love for others for any occasion we can think of. When basic invite reached out to me to collaborate, it was a no brainer for me because being a college student on a budget this is cost-effective for me for the holiday season. So I am very excited to start creating my own Christmas cards for my family and close friends.

Basic Invite is one of the most unique companies that create high-quality stationaries for any announcement, event, or holiday. There is a wide range for color selection allowing for unlimited options with instant previews. Once you select a design, you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options, so the card is exactly the color you want, down to the littlest detail. Along with this, we are also given the ability to order a printed sample of the actual design so we can see exactly how it will be as well as the paper quality before we place our final order. They are many different varieties when it comes to their holiday cards, you can choose from their ornament holiday cards,  deluxe holiday cards, and photo holiday cards.

And just as important as the actual card design, Basic Invite is just as creative and colorful with the envelopes. We can choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to the envelopes so that our loved ones enjoy the presentation as much as our card and even better, all of their envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed.

Basic Invite also has an address capturing service that allows its customers to simply share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request friends and family’s addresses which will be stored in the customer’s account and will then be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all card orders. And last but not least, my absolute favorite feature, foil cards! The foil option is available in gold, silver, and rose gold along with a flat or raised foil option. So pretty!

If you are interested in showing your appreciation to your friends and family this holiday season, be sure to consider writing a thoughtful card or something as simple as sending them updated pictures of you and the family with Basic Invite, check out their website as well as their Instagram and Facebook pages.
