Hi, I'm Tanya!

If you follow me on Instagram and my other social media, you should know I had an Instagram live series called Tea With Tanya. I had my first public speaking engagement over the summer with a group of high school and undergraduate students across the US, which sparked my confidence. I decided to start my Instagram Live series to gain more confidence with being in front of the camera, learning to love my speaking voice, getting comfortable speaking to a group of people, and of course, educating and empowering you. I did this for almost three months, and the support has been overwhelming. I’m proud of myself for being consistent and showing up weekly to talk about the different topics that we as millennials need to have.

After receiving such amazing feedback, I decided it was time for me to go after one of my goals, and that goal is to start a podcast. My friends! I was able to scratch another goal off of my list for 2020. I’m proud to announce that I launched the Tea With Tanya Podcast.

The goal of this podcast is to share public health stories, self-love, and wellness tips, to educate and empower, and to promote positive living. If you haven’t listened to the trailer, be sure to do so here!

As a treat for you, there’s a new episode out now! You can listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts or wherever you usually listen to your podcast. As you know, the holiday season is here, and for many, it can be both a happy and sad time. Everyone’s approach to the holiday season is different, and with how this year has been going, this season will be looking different. On this Bonus Episode, our first guest Dr. Atasha Jordan joins me for a candid IG Live Podcast recording to talk about how we can navigate our mental health during the unique holiday season and during the midst of a pandemic.

Dr. Atasha Jordan is a Psychiatry resident in Philadelphia, PA, where she studies the intersection of Christianity and Mental Health. Dr. Jordan aims to help normalize conversations about mental health and mental illnesses within the church. You can follow her journey on her Instagram and Twitter page and her blog.

Thank you for listening to the Tea With Tanya Podcast. Please be sure to subscribe to the podcast, share with your friends and family, and leave a review on Apple Podcasts.

If you have any questions or comments or would like to see me talk about a particular topic, or have any suggestions for guests. Feel free to reach out on Instagram.

Have you subscribed to my podcast yet? If not, do so now and turn on post notifications so you won’t miss an episode.

Be sure to check back in January for Season One of Tea With Tanya!

Launching this podcast couldn’t have been possible without your support. Thank you for your consistent support!
